About - The Silent Collective

Jon Cooper (Writer / Performer) - Co-founder of the Silent Collective, a company with which he is developing and producing the fast paced comedy radio and stage show, "Silence in C Minor". Also part of the Old Vic New Voices Company he is working with the Old Vic's US UK Exchange and Theatre 503 to develop his latest full length play "For Once I was . ."

Raised in the tiny back hole that is Waltham Chase he became a writer with his first commissioned youth theatre play "Fever". Since then he has been produced on both radio and stage from the University of Kent's theatre, The Gulbenkian to London's Old Vic. He also experiments with cross media storytelling (ARG's).

When not writing he is sleeping, performing, or devising meticulous plans to escape part time jobs.


Jamesic

James Groom (Performer) - Has been acting from young age, performing with the youth drama school Theatretrain where he was fortunate enough to perform at Her Majesty's, The Lyceum, the Palladium and The Bloomsbury theatres. Since then James has performed in various fringe theatre performances, such as Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are dead, Mother Courage and Her Children, and Loose Ends at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival. As well as theatre James has taken on film roles in various shorts, as well as recording radio episode's for the Silent Collectives Internet radio show of Silence in C Minor.

James attends the Central School Of Speech and Drama in London.

John Doree (Sound technician / Composer) - Both a composer and live performer of contemporary electronic music, recording under the as-yet-unsigned moniker Cadiam. He was responsible for overall sound and live music for the Silence In C Minor shows in Kentish Town in 2007 and as part his continual role in the Silent Collective, John is responsible for the music, sound design and overall production of the Silence In C Minor radio series.

Honour Bayes (Director) - Has worked on and produced, numerous fringe theatre shows in London, whose highlights comprise of work with The Oval House, The Jermyn Street Theatre, The Cockpit Theatre, The Kings Head Theatre (Islington), The Pleasance Studio (Islington) and the Lion and Unicorn Theatre. Past productions include Huis Close by Jean-Paul Sartre, Phaedra's Love by Sarah Kane, Dangerous Liaisons by Christopher Hampton, Citizenship by Mark Ravenhill, The Lesson by Eugene Ionesco and Silence in C Minor by Jon Cooper. As well as being joint Artistic Director of The Silent Collective, Honour is also a member of the Young Vic Young Director's Genesis network and has run a number of workshops in tandem with the Royal Court New Writers Programme. She is also a reviewer for the Roundtable Review.
